Our Newest Edition, Brooklyn Caroline Helle.

Michelle and I were blessed to welcome Brooklyn Caroline to our family on October 12, 2010.  She was born at 3:06 pm and weighed in at 7 lbs. 5 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long.  We were so very thankful that she was healthy as could be.  She looked just like her big brother when he was a newborn (a head full of dark hair).

She has now been at home with us for 3 weeks and is doing wonderfully.  

Michelle is really starting to feel like her old self.  I've never seen someone so happy to be able to get out for their daily walks as she is.  Brayden is such a wonderful big brother.  He absolutely loves to hold her and give her kisses. 

Michelle and I are aclimating well to our lack of sleep.  Brooklyn is waking up every 2-3 hours to eat.  Michelle feeds her while I change her diaper and put her back down to sleep.  Thank goodness for naps or else I'm not sure how I would make it.

Brooklyn has been to the doctor twice since we brought her home and is continuing to get a clean bill of health each time.  She is gaining weight with each visit and is almost up to 9.5 lbs. now.  Just like her brother, she is in the upper percentiles of both height and weight.
